TERMS & CONDTIONS

When purchasing from the UK FLOORING 4 LESS website,

 you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

 

Delivery Charges

 

Deliveries are available anywhere within mainland Uk and are chargeable from £29 + vat.

The free delivery offer for orders over £250 only applies to Local deliveries

within a 20 mile radius of Leicestershire.

 

Dispatch Policy

 

While every effort will be made to ensure that all items

 are in stock we offer no guarantee of availability and this

electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale.

Goods delivered normally arrive between 8am and 5.30pm,

Monday to Friday; in 5 working days of placing your order

(unless you have paid by cheque in which case your order   

will be dispatched within 5 working days after the cheque has

cleared). We will contact you to arrange delivery via phone

number if supplied or email, alternatively you can contact us

any time between 8.30a.m and 5.30p.m.

We offer delivery on all orders to mainland U.K. for £35

including VAT for laminate floors and £45 including vat for

solid wood floors.

A delivery surcharge will also apply to some areas in Northern

Scotland, Northern & Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of

Man and Isle of Wight, please call one of our sales advisors for

confirmation.

 

Most orders are dispatched from stock with a lead time of 5

days. If the items are not in stock we will contact you. In the

this event please allow up to 14 days for delivery, if this new

delivery time is not acceptable we will refund your card within

5 working days.

Due to insurance guidelines all flooring deliveries are made to

kerb side at the nearest access point to the delivery address for

the delivery vehicle. You must arrange for adequate help to off

 

load the flooring, the driver can not help move the flooring into

your home.

As deliveries can be made by a large lorry or van, it is

assumed that the delivery address will be accessible by lorry.

If there is likely to be a problem, e.g. the road is subject to a

vehicle weight or width limit please inform us at the time of

order.

Deliveries will be made between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. We are

unable to give an estimate of delivery time as all deliveries are

at the courier's discretion. If a courier arrives at your address

and is unable to deliver on the arranged delivery date because

you are not there or you will be liable for the re-delivery charge

of £65, if the original order had a delivery surcharge then

this will also apply.

If a courier arrives at your address and you refuse delivery you

will also be liable for a charge of £65, if the original order

had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.

Every effort is made to ensure that your goods are delivered in

perfect condition. Please inspect your goods immediately on

delivery as no claims with regard to damaged items can be

made after our driver has left the delivery address,

 

unless goods signed for as damaged on delivery.

Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on

return to us will incur a return delivery charge of £65, if the

original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.

In the unlikely event that some of your goods are damaged we

will collect and replace the product. Any claims must be made

within 7 days of receipt of goods. No liability can be accepted

for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason.

Therefore we advise against booking trades for installations

until goods have been received. In the event that you are not

available to provide a signature on the pre-arranged date, then

you will be charged for re-delivery of £65, if the original

 

order had a delivery surcharge then this will also apply.

Deliveries cannot be left outside in porches, garages or any

other location.


When Your Order Arrives

 

 

When your order arrives, you want to be sure the quantities

match what you ordered. To guarantee customer satisfaction,

please make note of the following when receiving your order.

Visually inspect the condition and entirety of your delivery,

make sure to note missing items or damaged materials. The

order confirmation email you received lists all the materials

and quantities you ordered. You will need to examine the

goods and count each item to make sure everything ordered has

been received. All deliveries are kerbside.

This means that you (or someone able) must be home to take

the material from the trailer to your home. The driver will only

 unload to the kerbside and are not allowed to enter your home.

DO NOT let the driver leave until you have verified the

material received is in good condition and that all material has

been accounted for.

Any damages or missing items must be noted on your delivery

receipt. If not noted we are unable to process with any

replacement products.

 

 

Damaged Faulty Goods

 

 All carriers are selected through stringent guidelines for service

and quality control. If you have a concern regarding delivery,

please advise our customer care department immediately.

Out of our total orders placed and shipped, our company

receives very little in claims initiated by customers.

Damaged or faulty goods must be reported to us immediately

on delivery either by phone: 01455 271286 or by email:

mail@ukflooring4less.co.uk.

Any damaged goods MUST be signed for as damaged on

delivery, we will then make further arrangements with you to

replace the damaged goods free of charge.

 

 

 

Cancellations and Returns

(Internet Sales only).

 

 In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you

have the right to cancel your order, up to 7 days after you have

received the goods. All goods must be unopened.

To cancel your order you must inform us either in writing or by

All returns and cancellations must conform to the guidelines

laid out in the Distance Selling Regulation a guide of which can

be found at;

 If goods have not been dispatched we will refund you the full

 invoice amount within 5 working days.

If you have taken delivery for your goods we will arrange with

you for the goods to be collected from the delivery address,

and we will then refund the total amount paid for the goods,

less the cost incurred by us for collection (this cost is the

charge made to us by the delivery company) prices will vary

depending on location. The standard cost for a collection in

mainland UK is £65 but if the original order had a delivery

surcharge then this will also apply.

If a courier arrives at your address and you refuse delivery

and cancel the order you will be liable for a charge of £65,

if the original order had a delivery surcharge then this will also

apply.

All goods must be unopened as they were received no refund

can be given if items are opened.

Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially

used to make the purchase, within 7 days of cancellation.

Returns can not be accepted on special order products.

 

Booking Trades People

 

Taking into consideration the many variables in deliveries, we

strongly recommend that you do not book your installer until

after you have received your order in its entirety. Manufacture

times, weather, supply-demand conditions, and replacement

delivery for damaged items are just some of the instances that

may delay your order. Please schedule your install to ensure

you have allocated time to receive your order.

We can not be held liable for failure to meet scheduled install

dates due to delivery. Delivery dates are approximates, and as

such, can not be promised under any circumstance.

 

Prices and Tax.

 

The pack price shown for the all goods includes VAT

Prices displayed on our website are correct to the best of our knowledge and maintained on a regular basis. In the event of an order being placed against an accidental incorrect price, We will  inform the purchaser of the error within seven days of the purchase being made, we will allow the purchaser to either cancel the booking or choose to pay the additional difference in price.

 

Product Guarantee

 

If you do not use a Damp Proof Membrane on ground floors, or

if you do not use the correct underlay, or if you do not have the

flooring fitted correctly, this will affect your guarantee.

 

Colours

 

 The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the

website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

 

Confidentiality

 

All confidential information, including credit card details, are

held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Customer

details are not passed to third parties and are used only in

accordance with the Data Protection Act.

 

 

Indemnity

 

You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses,

liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising

out of your use of this site. Jurisdiction The Contract will be

governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to

the Contract submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

 

Consumer Rights

 

None of the above Terms and Conditions affects your statutory

consumer rights.

Payments can be made by cheque made payable to UK

FLOORING 4 LESS and sent to the above company address, 

goods will be sent out within 5 working days of the funds

clearance.
